Harmonic notch
HN-6
Six notch bands on a live analyzer. What you see is what you cut.
Where. How. What for.
How
- Find the problem on the live analyzer: what you see is what you cut.
- Set a band on the fundamental; the notch repeats up the octave or harmonic series.
- MASTER DECAY sets how much less each next step cuts.
What for
- Removes hum and ring at the root, not with a broad EQ.
- The fundamental takes the full cut; the timbre survives.
- Six problems, six knobs, thirty notches.
