How
- Insert it on the second mic of the pair.
- Hit the drum: it measures only at hit onsets and locks when the measurements agree.
- Polarity is decided automatically and frozen with the delay.
What for
- A phase-coherent pair: fuller low end, no comb filtering.
- Mics that do not move are not re-measured all show long.
- Until it has learned, it is completely transparent.
